If I were to trade in the WRX and get this?
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

thought you wanted something reliable?
![]() 06/02/2015 at 11:04 |
|
Yes.
![]() 06/02/2015 at 11:05 |
|
The hood doesn’t look like it’s latched properly. Strike 1.
![]() 06/02/2015 at 11:05 |
|
Yes. All the yeps.
![]() 06/02/2015 at 11:06 |
|
Ya probably. Opposaurusjagwagon isn’t the worst though.
![]() 06/02/2015 at 11:09 |
|
Yes.
Unless you really like working on cars, or paying someone lots of money to do so.
![]() 06/02/2015 at 11:10 |

Do you like reliability?
![]() 06/02/2015 at 11:11 |
|
Yes. Terrible Idea.
You must do it.
![]() 06/02/2015 at 11:13 |
|
100% yup.
![]() 06/02/2015 at 11:13 |
|
YOU SAID RELIABLE
![]() 06/02/2015 at 11:16 |
|
Is it a automatic? If so run away as fast as possible, also it looks like it had front end damage by the look of that gap between the bumper and hood.
![]() 06/02/2015 at 11:17 |
|
You wont do it.
![]() 06/02/2015 at 11:19 |
|
That was going to be my exact comment.
![]() 06/02/2015 at 11:21 |
|
See at this point it seems like you’re fucking with us.
![]() 06/02/2015 at 11:23 |
|
Terrible, but your oppo-cred would skyrocket
![]() 06/02/2015 at 11:24 |
|
But underneath, it’s a Mondeo and those are pretty solid!
//continues making excuses

Jagasaurus, Velociwagon, yea nothing fits as well

This is pretty powerful, manual, awd and looks good. probably get it around 8k

this too: http://www.cars.com/vehicledetail/…

I don’t know, Velociwagon is pretty damn cool :)
It’ll be a markedly different character to the WRX, probably more of a cruiser than a bruiser, but I’ve heard good things about the Mondeo’s chassis dynamics so it can’t go far wrong :)

Fun to look at, fun to drive, glad I had one, glad I don’t now.
Look up the procedure for a transfer case fluid change and the front struts. When 100K rolled around I looked at those and traded it in.

WANT
![]() 06/02/2015 at 11:59 |
|
These came in AWD too, so it doesn’t have to be that different from the WRX.
![]() 06/02/2015 at 12:01 |
|
yea while 7 seconds to 60 isn;t bad, i feel that something with ‘veloci’ in the name would be attached to something with a bit higher velocity.
![]() 06/02/2015 at 12:02 |
|
yea thats the exact type of thing I would want to avoid. Like changing the alternator in my wife’s Escape. I would have done the one on my explorer by myself, but this required dissembling the front drive shaft which I was unwilling to do.

Ugh yeah there are lots of jobs like that. And stupid stuff like the recirc door having crappy plastic gears that strip (that took me a Saturday afternoon to fix), and the seat motors having crappy plastic gears that strip. Also if the headliner isn’t drooping yet it will be soon. If you need a Jag pony up for an XF or XJ - examples can be had for similar money and they are vastly superior - though they have their own bugbears.

i dont mind workin on cars when its easy, i hate paying anybody for anything.
![]() 06/02/2015 at 12:53 |

How do you feel about transmission swaps? That’s the only personal experience I have with one of these :)
![]() 06/02/2015 at 12:58 |
|
didn;t like having it done on my explorer. its far beyond my capability and i hate paying large sums of money for repairs.
